Sources & Destinations
CustomerLabs acts as the central infrastructure for your first-party data. It sits between your Sources (where data is collected from) and your Destinations (where data is sent to).
Sources
Section titled “Sources”A Source is any platform or tool that sends data into CustomerLabs. By connecting multiple sources, you can build a complete 360-degree profile of your customers.
Types of Sources
Section titled “Types of Sources”- Websites/Apps: Captured via the JavaScript API or GTM.
- E-commerce Platforms: Direct integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, etc.
- CRMs: Syncing customer data and lead stages from HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
- Offline Data: Uploading CSV files or using webhooks to bring in data from internal databases or physical stores.
Destinations
Section titled “Destinations”A Destination is a platform where you want to send your unified first-party data for activation. CustomerLabs transforms your data into the specific format required by each platform.
Types of Destinations
Section titled “Types of Destinations”- Ad Platforms: Meta (Facebook), Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc. (for better targeting and attribution).
- Analytics Tools: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Mixpanel, Amplitude.
- Marketing Automation: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Braze for personalized email and SMS campaigns.
- Warehouses: Sending raw data to BigQuery or Snowflake for advanced business intelligence.
The Data Flow Process
Section titled “The Data Flow Process”- Ingest: Data is collected from various Sources (Website, CRM, Shopify).
- Unify: CustomerLabs stitches the data into a single unified profile.
- Activate: The unified data is synced to your selected Destinations in real-time or as segments.
